Halopeau Doll Maker

Aristide Marsellin HALOPEAU アロポー Doll maker from 1878 to 1899. He commissioned a sculptor to create a unique Bebe model and ordered heads of pressed bisque from FRAYON firm until 1888 and then from GAULTHIER firm. The porcelain heads were painted by a famous artist, BARNARD. The body, too, was unique and commissioned from another firm. These dolls are very rare because the production was very limited.
